How to select A Cabin Bed

Cabin beds are also called captain beds because historically this particular bed design was used in ships in cabins where  space was too small and there was no capacity to store a sailor s personal possessions. They have storage facility inside  them in which you can store a number of things like bed sheets, clothes etc. They are made of wood primarily which and are of  a complicated design which tends to make them a little pricey. These beds have sets of drawers underneath the mattress, and it is this feature which makes it so appealing. It is like the  bunk bed, a space saving feature and can prove to be excellent for those small rooms in a home where you need additional  space to make the house look less congested. This is probably the coolest thing about the cabin bed.

These beds are most suitable for kids because as a child they are usually always given the smallest room in the house. I  remember as a child I spent many years in the box room! Wherever furniture cannot be settled you can always rely on a cabin  bed to neatly hide things away. They really are double-duty bed frames which are tremendously durable, comfortable and long lasting. When buying a cabin bed you should keep in mind what you want because often people who do not have much experience in buying  beds generally just agree with the salesman s pitch. Who says that there is no different between a bunk beds and the cabin  bed is wrong. The most prominent difference between them is storage and their sleeping capability; captain beds sleep one  whereas bunks can sleep up to 4 persons! Bunk beds are also much taller in size compared to cabin beds.

In this modern age, cabin beds are the most desired beds and they are available in different materials such as metal and  wood, finishes, colors and attractive designs. They can be decorated and will suit any wallpapers or paint. Different people  are different tastes and they can even give it an antique look by using the most modern equipment. Often children or teens make a mess of their rooms but with a cabin bed their room would look clean and tidy with the most  fabulous and modern furniture built in. The pleasure offered by these beds is far more than what is provided by normal bed  and especially for kids and teens. It is a place where most of the time they will happily spend time. Who would of thought  it! Kids looking forward to going to bed!
